GLOWGUARD™ uses a four-filter hybrid system: Zinc Oxide (mineral, 7.68%) anchors the formula as the primary broad-spectrum agent, supported by Ethylhexyl Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, a combination selected for maximal UVA/UVB coverage with minimal white cast.

Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract: Anti-Inflammatory Soother
Madagascar-sourced. Anti-inflammatory and calming, ideal for sensitive, reactive, or post-procedure skin. Helps reinforce the skin barrier with daily use.

Glutathione: Antioxidant Brightener
A potent antioxidant that works to brighten and even skin tone over time. Supports the skin's natural defence against oxidative stress from UV exposure.

Purslane (Portulaca Oleracea Extract): Nutrient-Dense Protector
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. Anti-inflammatory and soothing, particularly effective for daily environmental exposure.

Sphingomonas Ferment Extract: Skin-Identical Humectant
A ferment-derived humectant that mimics skin's natural moisturising factors, leaving a smooth, hydrated base without heaviness.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Antioxidant Support
Works alongside Glutathione to neutralise free radicals generated by UV and environmental exposure.

Jojoba Esters: Texture Softener
Softens and smooths on contact, contributing to the lightweight, skin-like finish that distinguishes GLOWGUARD™ from traditional sunscreens.

Glycerin: Hydration Anchor
A classic, evidence-backed humectant. Draws moisture into skin and holds it there throughout the day.

1.25 mL pipette dose. Designed to reduce under-application, the #1 reason SPF fails.

APPLICATION:

1. Measure 1.25 mL using the pipette and apply generously 20 minutes before sun exposure, last step of your skincare routine.
2. Use as a primer before makeup, or wear alone for a dewy base.
3. Reapply frequently after swimming, sweating, or towelling.

Why the pipette?

Clinical SPF testing is conducted at 2.0mg/cm² of product, most people apply far less. The pipette removes the guesswork and delivers a measured dose every time.

Clinical SPF Testing (UVB Protection)

SPF RESULT: 52.3 ± 5.0 In vivo testing on 10 human subjects per ISO 24444:2019. 95% confidence interval: 48.7 to 55.9. Reliability verified (C ≤ 0.17 × SPF). Zero adverse reactions observed. Report: KDRI 2021 1044.

Clinical UVA Testing (PA Rating)

UVA RESULT: PFA 17.7 ± 2.6, PA++++ In vivo UVA testing on 10 human subjects per ISO 24442:2011 using the MPPD (Minimal Persistent Pigment Darkening Dose) method. 95% CI: 15.8 to 19.6. Reliability verified against ISO reference sample (known PFA 12.7, measured 12.9). Zero adverse reactions. Report: KDRI 2021 1043.

Yes. Fragrance-free, built around zinc oxide and skin-supportive ingredients including Centella Asiatica and Purslane. Zero adverse reactions were observed in clinical testing across all skin types tested. We are proud to be a holy grail for people with psoriasis, rosacea and eczema.

How often should I reapply?

Yes. GLOWGUARD™ uses tolerability-tested ingredients and is suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How much should I use?

Use the full 1.25 mL pipette dose for your face, and another for your neck. Under-application is the most common reason SPF fails in real-world conditions.

What makes GLOWGUARD™ different from other Korean sunscreens?

Most Korean sunscreens are tested to Korean MFDS standards and rated for the Korean market. GLOWGUARD™ was specifically manufactured and tested to meet Australia/New Zealand AS/NZS 2604:2021, the most stringent sunscreen standard in our region. The SPF and PFA testing was conducted to ISO 24444:2019 and ISO 24442:2011 respectively, the international standards required for regulatory compliance.

Orders are packed and shipped within 2 to 3 business days by Ihara, our operations lead. We work with NZ Post and Australia Post. You will receive tracking once it is on its way.
